The Garden Design Process
As seasoned landscape gardeners with many years experience of working with clients throughout Essex, London and the South East, we understand the importance of a clear design process to ensure that we fully understand our clients’ wishes and that clients are completely satisfied with the end result. Our design process involves 5 key steps:
1. Discuss your Plans
The Constant Gardener will make contact with you via a phone call or email to discuss your plans and ideas for your garden and take a brief.
2. Design Brief
After we have discussed your ideas and 'must haves' for your new garden we will advise if this is feasible for the budget you have for your project. If so, we will book a visit to meet you on site to discuss your plans in more detail. At this stage we will establish a preliminary garden design brief, before creating a design fee proposal.
3. Instruction to Proceed
Once you are happy with the design fee proposal, you will then be able to instruct us to proceed with the project.
4. Specialist Surveys
We will carry out a survey to measure and analyse the site to ensure that we have accurate data before starting work. For larger, more complex projects we will employ a specialist survey team. However for smaller projects the surveys will be carried out by The Constant Gardener team.
5. Ready to Start
Once the relevant data is collected we will start the artistic phase of the design process. We’ll work closely with you to ensure that you’re completely happy with the plan and we’ll present the result of our creativity at a meeting so that the project can be agreed in principle. We’re then ready to start work!
